Your Laugh for Wednesday .... Spicer Defends Detaining Five-Year-Old Iranian, Suggests He Could Have Posed a Threat to America

When defending President Donald Trump‘s executive order banning immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries Monday, White House press secretary Sean Spicer suggested that it would be “misguided and wrong” to assume a five-year-old Iranian boy detained at Dulles airport was not a threat to national security.
NBC News’ Kristen Welker brought up the incident while Spicer was extolling the benefits of the order during the White House press briefing. After Spicer insisted the order made Americans safe, Welker pressed him on the detention of a“five-year-old from Iran for five hours. He was separated from his mother.”
“And they were processed through, Kristen. That’s the process,” Spicer responded.
“The point is you can go through and nitpick and say this individual– that’s why we slow it down. And to make sure if they are a 5-year-old, then maybe that they are with their parents and they don’t pose a threat,” he continued.
“But to assume just because of someone’s age or gender or whatever, that they don’t pose threat is misguided and wrong,” he concluded.
Be sure to tweet  Mr Trump and thank him for defending you against five year old terrorists.
