What do Nana think about getting a wheelchair.
She will enjoy going out more often.
Nana will be good for a few days she has to re-group from the phone company and the utitity workers.

  8. Nana would rather have a scooter. I don't want her driving a thing like that. She will mow people down like bowling pins.

Yes I got it and I think you are right.
He is mighty calm about the whole thing and that's when you have to watch out .
Leon is more calmer now since he talked with him.

I think you can one that's slow, I know Dad's don't go fast...but tell Nana she have to think of her arthritis and her hands may cramped up at a moment's notice.

  11. The calm before the storm. Better send out a storm alert.

  12. Is he coming home tomorrow?

If people see her coming they will get out her way, I know they get out of Dad's way.

    ReplyDelete
  15. She'll sneak up on them and then mow them down. Nothing happens by accident with Nana.

Anita says it's been a long time since she seen him this mad...Anita said he never played their game and they all remember what happen in Carson City/Reno about 15 years ago...she said she's been with him this long because he's a straight shooter.

BP is full of shit..laying the blame on others.
Katrina was bad enough...but after the BP ordeal the way of life will never be the same.

  21. Anonymous10:28:00 PM

    Okay I will right now...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Even though BP subcontracted the building and rented the platform they are still ultimately responsible for the safety of all concerned. If you are the boss, you take the heat.

Anita said they don't give me a chance anymore to give him hell.
She said everyone in the office would read us as soon as they had a chance , because they knew I was going to tell you and it made there day.

  27. Wow! That email was an eye opener. No wonder they don't trust the C***** bunch. What a gang of crooks.

    Jeanie
I will have to leave you a letter in drafts tomorrow about Mae and Shirley.
Shirley called Mae and I was on the other phone listening.
Glad everything is going good for you and your family.
I will say goodnight I haven't forgot you.
    Goodnight Nan

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anonymous11:05:00 PM

I always wonder why he wasn't close to any of them but Leon, I will tell you more tomorrow.
I think that's the way people are when they are riding others backs.
My daddy wasn't rich, but he was comfortable and we all had to work for what we wanted and we are more better for it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Wow! Can't wait to hear the skinny Nan. Quite a family. No wonder G carries a gun. I look forward to hearing from you. Shirley must have quite a story...Night Sweetie

  31. Anonymous11:11:00 PM

I got your e-mail and I will tell you more tomorrow.
Like Anita said they are riding on Dad's coat tails all these years.and want everything he has.
Anita said ...hell they are getting a free ride for no work at all....she says the only people that mae be safe is Leon/aunt Mae.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anonymous11:13:00 PM

NAN said she was going to tell you what Shirley/anut Mae talked about.

  33. You sure have brought some excitement into my dull life. What a lot of intrigue and plotting and cheating goes on.They don't sound like very nice people.
I think one of the things Gil loves about you is that you're straight up, no deceit. What you see is what you get. Probably your family is like that too. I know Nanis.

I'm so glad we only have one black sheep and that Susan, we always helped each other.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Dad's story would fill two books and it's not over yet.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Anonymous11:20:00 PM

I'm proud to say none of my family have ever asked Gil/Dad for a dime they are not rich but all my siblings own their own space.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I know Susan is your black sheep, but even she looks good next to some of the C*****s.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous11:25:00 PM

Sis said Dad was talking to Jon about what he wanted to do and Jon told him to go for it...it would be less worry on him.
Anita said Dad is Gil's hero and he thinks the world of Rhonda .
Shit my life is dull compared to the fart-ass C*****

    ReplyDelete
  39. Anonymous11:30:00 PM

Sweetie...I'm so glad my man is an everyday joe and a man that worked to get where he is.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anonymous11:37:00 PM

I know you have workers coming tomorrow...so I have 2 posts in drafts for FTBB.
One is about bedbugs and what to do about them.
the other is about Cockroaches : the antibiotics of the future, will you post ???

    ReplyDelete
  41. When I first mentioned Rhonda to you. They acted like she wasn't anyone special, just an old mistress of Dad's. And Dad said "I think she is still around somewhere." Little did we realize how important she was to them.

I knew she was large in their lives because her legal name was C***** and she had her finger in a lot of the C*****'s businesses. I suspected right away that Dad was married to her. They do not like to divulge any secrets. You have to dig them out. I smelled a good story in it. I couldn't resist

    ReplyDelete
  42. I don't have workers tomorrow but You should get your rest. Who knows you might find another needy child tomorrow and adopt them, so you need to rest. Now that would be a surprise for Gil to come home to.

I know you know about the Horeseshoe mess a while Back in Vegas ..where the owner was murderered...his brother Jack owned the horseshoe across the river but sold it because of something happen about his license or some other dirty dealing...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes I know that story. His girlfriend did it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anonymous11:48:00 PM

I knew about Rhonda but I didn't talk about her because Anita and the others read our blog and I knew how close mouth they are.
I know they had a ceremony before Gil's mama died, and afterwards they made it legal.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think dad did the honorable thing.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Anonymous11:55:00 PM

Gil said his mama was sick for a long time and Dad made sure she had the best of care...Dad was a big man in Reno and he needed someone on his arm and he didn't want people to think bad of Rhonda because he cared for her so they got married, he said it was no one business and he had always kept Gil and aunt Mae's kids out of the public eye...so no one was the wiser and he raised Rhonda's daughter by her first husband, but kept her out as much as possible.

    ReplyDelete
  48. So, obviously they lived together for a long time. It's sad that they parted. I wonder why.

    ReplyDelete
  49. At least he hasn't divorced her. You know, deep down he is a good man with a lot of heart.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Anonymous11:59:00 PM

I was asking him about some of the things they wrote about him and he says half of that he don't remember most of it.Dad says that why he wanted Gil to write a journal about his life because he didn't want his grands to grow up with the wrong idea about him.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Anonymous12:03:00 AM

Dad says he still care for her, but they just grew apart but she is a great business woman and he can go home anytime...but he says he is not 22 years older than her as it was stated somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Anonymous12:08:00 AM

Dad said he wasn't going to married again so why get a divorce.
He says on the other hand he may marry again after Sis has this baby and it looks like him and he told her his kid looks just like him and he will expect for this one to look like him also..
Sis said you old fool go play with Gilly.

  53. Time to crawl in beside the Rock. It's a little chilly up here now. I am actually grateful for that.I definitely don't like heat waves and global warming.
Did you know that many of the volcanos around the world are active right now?I found that information a little scary.

Well on that cheerful note I bid you a good night and a sunny tomorrow. Take care and God Bless all your babies...LUV and HUGS ...PIC

  54. HA!...I love those two. They have a great sense of humor.

Sis said she was pregnant last year some time. She's been carrying that baby a long time. It'll be a teen by the time it comes out.

Even though Dad only had one kid, he had the pleasure of raising quite a few.

  55. Anonymous12:20:00 AM
