  2. Ouch! Sorry. When I saw the laughing cat, I figured the only reason why this cat is laughing so loud is because she just has watched the latest episode of CSI Miami. LOL

  14. A hot toddy would be most welcome.Nice to know you missed me.
Been a little busy.Had to take Mom shopping and lost her in the mall. She's 85 and a little vague.Took an hour to find her.She wandered off.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Anonymous9:30:00 PM

now that will get your blood going

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think I'll put her on a leash next time.Lots of sales here.Mom loves sales.

    ReplyDelete
  17. You know, they have plum-wine in Chinese restaurants as well. Neutralizes fishy breath (LOL).
Moi had Tacos de Cabeza. And goat birria.

An hour? Where did she hide? In the boys' locker?

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  25. Please say HI to Sis for me.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Still got the cold?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Anonymous9:38:00 PM

I would love your mom,we have a lot in common, march to the beat of our own drummer.

    ReplyDelete
  28. What's a Goat birria

It is a very spicey soup with a lot of chile. The fry a goat like a suckling pig and cut the meat from the goat by order and put it into the soup. However, one has to like the strong taste of the goat meat.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I love tacos vix.I make really good ones.I like em hot.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Anonymous9:39:00 PM

he was getting better ...f..king from under the covers.

    ReplyDelete
  31. What kind of supermarket is this, that your mother can't be found for almost an hour? Walmart?

    ReplyDelete
  32. The soup sounds very nourishing.Put some hair on your chest.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Anonymous9:41:00 PM

we barbeque goats here, hell we eat anything that don't eat us first.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I love tacos vix.I make really good ones.I like em hot.

Me too. But I can do without the Guacamole. Cabeza is meat from a cows-head, from the cheeks. Very tender and very good.

    ReplyDelete
  35. You can bet. The chile will make you stand upright in your boots. Normally they eat it in the morning. But I asked for mercy , so I was allowed to eat it in the late afternoon.

    CC- LOL gators too?

    ReplyDelete
  36. It was a big mall Vix,and she never stays where I put her. Also she's somewhat deaf,so a message over the P.A. system is pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Anonymous9:44:00 PM

But Gil is going to give it up or sleep on the couch/floor

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yeah,do you eat gator meat Nee?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh my. Maybe you should get a leash like they have for toddlers. This way you'll have her always near her (no offense).

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anonymous9:45:00 PM

Gator tails is better than shrimp

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's time Gil got back on the job.He can be replaced you know.

Are his ribs still sore? Those things take a while to heal.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Mon dieu!

You know that SHRIMP/crabs eat everything that is dead? After the Zunami in Asia people in Thailand weren't allowed to sell and eat shrimp/crabs because those animals are known to feed on cadavers. In this case it was human cadavers (those who drowned in the ocean).

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous9:49:00 PM

you got that right...Jeannie take a look at choosing sides, thelady has a little peach fuzz

    ReplyDelete
  44. A leash is the only solution.

I heard, too much gator meat can sterilize you.How does it taste anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Or hire a nurse who keeps an eye on her 24/7. I hope she didn't buy half of the store.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anonymous9:51:00 PM

Gil's ribs is find, just had the sniffles, nothing but a boy with a big dangle.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thankyou Vix,I just permanently lost my appetite for all crustaceans and shell fish.

    ReplyDelete
  48. How big is the dangle?Would you say eight or nine inches?Go measure the dangle and get back to me.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ouch, sorry. YOu know, I really do love shrimps. One day I turn on the TV and there was a documentary about SHRIMPS. I still eat them. I just push any thoughts about what those animals eat BEFORE they die aside. I make myself think maybe the shrimps I eat were vegetarians before they were killed...LOL

    ReplyDelete
  50. Anonymous9:56:00 PM

Gator taste like shrimp, just stronger, haven't had any in about 30 yrs.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Anonymous9:58:00 PM

He want let me measure, says just jump on and enjoj the ride.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think there are restrictions by law to kill gators and eat their meat.

    ReplyDelete
  53. GAtor sounds good to me.I love shrimp and I know they are bottom
feeders Vix.You are just too analytical.Eat,don't think.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Anonymous10:00:00 PM

Jeannie ,we have fish farms here

    ReplyDelete
  55. Do they have catfish farms?
Mom and Dad spent a lot of time there fishing.Dad loved fishing.
A native of Louisiana taught him how to catch catfish and how to cook it.They always loved catfish after that.

    ReplyDelete
  56. LOL. You are right Jeannie. Has been awhile since I have eaten Asian jumbo shrimps.

    ReplyDelete
  57. My friend from Lousisna said catfish is a very ugly thing. But since they never had enough money they always went fishing on Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Vix,what's the difference between taco and burrito?Different filling?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Catfish are ugly and mean.Got to be careful how you grab them.Teeth and spines.
The ones in Canada can be huge.Very scary when you catch one.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Anonymous10:14:00 PM

Yes they have catfish farms,we all love to fish,I guess thats why Gil brought on the lake

    ReplyDelete
  61. Anonymous10:14:00 PM

    what part of Louisiana?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Burrito - It is a big tortilla filled with rice and beans.
A real taco is a small tortilla filled with cows head, beef or pork or fish.

    ReplyDelete
  63. New Orleans. Her family moved to Mississippi after Kathrina.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Anonymous10:19:00 PM

Jeannie don't forget to look at my picture on choosing sides...I hope a certain party gets my drift.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Nee,Years ago,I brought out a measuring tape and measured Brian as a joke.He thought it was hilarious.
Then he made me measure circumference and thickness and he made me measure other things. He thought it was very stimulating.

    ReplyDelete
  66. My parents spent weeks there all over. They travelled along a river.
    The Suani?I don't know spelling.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anonymous10:23:00 PM

So sad New Orleans will never be the same,Ilove the French Quarter.we moved when I was 8 years.

    ReplyDelete
  68. So much history and art and archtecture destroyed, thanks mostly to Mr Bush.He wouldn't build new levees.I understand, most of the French quarter survived.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Anonymous10:27:00 PM

I have a tape going to do it,before my babies were born we both slept naked, all I had to do was rolled over (GIGGLES)

    ReplyDelete
  70. They say the French Quarter was the least afflicted. But yes, it is a shame. One of the most beautiful cities in the US.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Anonymous10:30:00 PM

Bush I hear is drinking again,He never gave a shit about this country,

    ReplyDelete
  72. Still so many families without homes living in trailers.Hope Mr Obama is a more sympathetic pres.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Anonymous10:33:00 PM

I am going to say goodnite, and as always it has been a pleasure...tape measure in hand Nee heads out the door.....

    ReplyDelete
  74. To be fair, the downfall of New Orleans is not his fault alone. Years of neglective politics have brought the city down. The dam that should shield New Orleans from the forces of the ocean should have been build 20 years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Yes,Bush was a recovered alcoholic wasn't he? He'll go back to it,if he doesn't find something useful to do.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Nite Nee.I want a copy of those measurements.A girl has to make comparisons.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Good night CC. And thanks for the great article. You rock, girl!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yes,that's right Vix.The state itself, could have prevented much of the disaster.Always been a very corrupt state gov't.

    ReplyDelete
  79. They say, that because the population of the city is predominantely black it was always put on the back burner.

    ReplyDelete
  80. That explains a lot,doesn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  81. It does. Can you fish in Canada where you want or do you happen to have a permit?

    ReplyDelete
  82. Have you posted on DCR yet?Or,heard from Monroe again?Funny how she popped back out of the blue, huh? Why now?

    ReplyDelete
  83. You're supposed to get a license.a lot of people don't bother, too big a country to police it.Native people fish and hunt wherever and whenever they want,no license needed.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I am still working on the article. It still needs a finishing touch here and there.
Well...Melba is irritating me a bit. She asks a lot of strange questions. Questions that make little sense.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Where I was raised the fish/deer belong to the State. They have personnel that check woods ,rivers and lakes regularily. If you get caught fishing or hunting without a permit you will get fined.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Melba is a little intense.Could she be a reporter?Or maybe from Dave's camp?

    ReplyDelete
  87. Keyser referenced this blog in one of his posts. I think that is nice.

    ReplyDelete
  88. More strict on hunting up here.Only time guns are allowed.Permits for your permits for your permits. We don't like guns up here.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Keyser is okay.Enjoyed his writing style.Very bright man.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I think the latter is more the case. She keeps on refering to the ring Caruso wore back in June - which is entirely unimportant since he hasn't worn it never since. Too much talk about Amina for my taste. Like I said, she sets me off.

Journalists have many means of getting information. They don't need my blog.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Well dojo called Keyser" a meaningless existence" - I smell sour grapes.

    ReplyDelete
  92. She comes on quite strong, could be quite innocent. She knows you have an inside track.

    ReplyDelete
  93. He's not out to impress anyone, just likes to speak his mind and chat .

    ReplyDelete
  94. Maybe. Maybe not. Judgement reserved until a later date. I think, I remember reading that name over at dojo's blog too.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Keyser is a master of his own. And he is not impressed - neither with sara nor with dojo. And I think that galls BOTH a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I've seen her name somewhere too.I was thinking maybe on VIpix?Has she posted with you before?

    ReplyDelete
  97. Once or twice. But not with a plethora of questions.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Both Dojo and Sara are full of their own importance. When others don't recognize their importance, they get quite pissed.I got similar hissy treatment from them when I disagreed with them.

    ReplyDelete
  99. They are. And boy hate they it when their actions are questioned. And they are not above on turning on one of their own - like Sam - if someone dares to criticize.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I'm going to try and write an article about Travolta and son.Hope its up to your standards.See you in a bit Vixie.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I am looking forward to it.
